Division Objectives

- 
Develop and enhance the image, reputation and branding of UIS, which showcases an outstanding and progressive university identity. 
- 
trengthen the university's corporate communications management to meet the needs of UIS and stakeholders, and realise the UIS vision. 
- 
Be an effective official intermediary between the university and external parties. 
- 
Be a centre for the disseminating of official university information and news. 
Division Functions

- 
Formulate communication, promotion and publicity plans for all UIS activities and corporate affairs to enhance the reputation and consolidate the identity of UIS. 
- 
Manage UIS public relations affairs - including relations with the media and external agencies/institutions. 
- 
Monitor, manage and coordinate social media (Instagram, Facebook and TikTok) and the UIS website. 
- 
Plan and manage information material for each official UIS programme and event through publications, annual reports, photos and video recordings for distribution and reference for the public and the media. 
- 
Enable liaison of the secretariat for official and joint functions with agencies/institutions and UIS corporate functions. 
- 
Manage customer complaints.
