Division Objectives

Foster the spirit of love for one’s alma mater by contributing expertise, skills and finances to develop UIS excellence;

Compile graduate information to identify the marketability of UIS graduates in obtaining employment after graduation;

Strengthen existing relationships to encourage alumni community service contributions to UIS;

Facilitate the delivery of up-to-date and effective information.
Division Functions

Establish friendly relations between UIS and Alumni through planned activities;

Establish ongoing ties for the advancement of UIS and Alumni towards the wellbeing of UIS, its students and the community;

Consolidate Alumni collaboration in various fields through the contribution of ideas and expertise, as well as the implementation of professionalism development programmes;

Coordinate alumni activities and work closely with the UIS Alumni Association and all faculties in UIS;

Track alumni and follow details of alumni progress and success, as well as provide necessary support mechanisms;

As a mediator for the dissemination of job-related information;

Share information with the government and private sectors in the handling of manpower resource needs, seminars, workshops and activities involving UIS alumni;

Act as joint secretariat for events and programmes involving alumni;

Coordinate, update and input information on the Graduate Tracer Study;
-
Monitor and update alumni record data starting with the establishment of KISDAR-KUIS-UIS.
