Office Objectives

The Registrar's Office was established under the provisions of the UIS Constitution whereby the Registrar is to be appointed to manage matters related to the governance and overall operations of UIS.

Ensure that the management process is implemented efficiently, accurately and effectively, based on regulations in force that are in line with UIS requirements.
Office Functions
The Registrar's Office is responsible for the following aspects:

Manage matters related to human resource management and administration such as staffing, training and career development.

Manage affairs connected to academic activities such as student records, examinations, graduations and academic staff projections.

Manage matters related to the secretariat of university activities and major meetings, and implement best governance.

Manage and develop facilities at UIS to realise a safe, healthy, conducive, friendly and cheerful work environment and system.

Specifically manage the marketing of academic programmes and obtaining new students for UIS.

Manage matters related to the safety of the UIS community in general, as well as the security of facilities and property of UIS.
