Produce short-term courses and training, offered either by the faculty or through collaborations with external organisations.

Produce new courses, programmes, and certifications in Islamic technical and vocational skills at UIS.

Plan strategies for implementing new courses, programmes and certifications of Islamic technical and vocational skills types at UIS on an annual basis.

Coordinate and monitor the implementation of new courses, programmes and certifications in technical and vocational skills in every faculty, if any.

Boost and consolidate implementation, courses, programmes and certifications of Islamic UIS technical and vocational skills from time to time.

Ensure transparency, authority and accountability in the implementation of Islamic technical and vocational skills courses, programmes and certifications in line with the mission, vision and objectives of UIS.

Establish networks with industry through MoUs, MoAs and collaborations in identifying knowledge and skills needed by industry.
Centre Functions

Develop and manage TVET courses, programmes, and certifications from the Malaysian Skills Development Department (JPK) & MQA according to UIS faculties' 'niche'.

Manage and coordinate short-term courses and training, offered either by the faculty or through collaboration with external organisations.

Administer planned strategies for the implementation of short-term courses and TVET certification programmes.

Present periodic activity reports to the Director of TVET regarding short-term courses and TVET certification programmes.

Assess financial details for implementing short-term course programmes and TVET certification.

Approve proposal papers related to short-term courses and TVET certification programmes.
