Office Objectives
The office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Community & Industrial Link) coordinates, oversees, and enhances the implementation of research, community, and industry engagement initiatives in alignment with UIS’s mission and vision.
Office Functions

Assist UIS management in developing both short-term and long-term strategies.

Coordinate and oversee the administration of human resources, finance, research management systems, Islamic technology innovation, community and industry engagement, and course development (TVET).

Represent the university management during Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) visits.

Support initiatives aimed at enhancing the university's reputation as a competitive and esteemed private higher education institution.

Organise and coordinate activities related to research, community engagement, and industry collaboration.

Promote and establish UIS as an institution renowned for its strong reputation, credibility, and integrity.

Assist in coordinating official university events as needed.
